Each morning at La Closerie des Capucines and Le Clos des Rosiers begins with a delightful breakfast in the Grand Salle, a shared space radiating charm and elegance. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, soaring ceilings, and grand fireplaces, it provides the perfect setting to enjoy fresh pastries from the local boulangerie, eggs prepared to your liking, freshly squeezed juice, and more.

GETTING HERE

Arbois is easily accessible by TGV, with direct connections from Lausanne and Paris bringing you to the nearby train station at Mouchard, just a short drive from the heart of town. There is local train access from Lyon and Strasbourg.

  • When Neal Rosenthal acquired the property in 2018, he was captivated by the romance of Arbois—a town at the heart of the Jura, close to the Burgundy and Savoie wine producers he considers family.

    As the founder of Rosenthal Wine Merchant, he was the first to introduce the Jura’s bold, singular wines to the United States, recognizing the region’s extraordinary treasures long before they gained wider acclaim. With the meticulous, multi-million-dollar restoration of La Closerie des Capucines and the addition of a second chambre d’hôtes, Le Clos des Rosiers, Rosenthal continues his lifelong pursuit of sharing authentic, deeply rooted experiences. Now, he welcomes guests to discover yet another of his Jura gems.
